Job summary

A local heavy repair facility in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a skilled heavy equipment technician to diagnose and repair equipment in both shop and field settings. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay based on experience, and a strong team-focused environment. Candidates with 310S/310T certifications are encouraged to apply. This position requires a strong safety focus and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • 310S and/or 310T certification is required.
  • CWB welding certification is an asset.
  • Experience with Shop Management Software is an asset.

  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment in shop and field settings.
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on various systems.
  • Document repairs and communicate findings clearly.

Job description

Employer Name: Titan Heavy Repair

Location/Address: 818 Jones Road, Kenora, ON and Field Sites

Hours of Work: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; hours can be flexible but must be consistent)

Wage: Competitive and based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment in both shop and field settings
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, safety, emissions tests, and troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate findings clearly
  • Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Represent Titan Heavy Repair professionally with customers and vendors
Qualifications
  • 310S and/or 310T
  • CWB welding certification (asset)
  • Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions
  • Strong safety focus and team orientation
  • Apprentices may be considered
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
  • Experience with Shop Management Software (ex. Mitchell) (asset)
