Job description

Overview

Our client is an established company with multiple locations across Eastern Canada. They are successful at servicing heavy industrial construction and compact equipment.

There is currently a need to hire a heavy equipment shop. This role you will work Mon‑Fri with some overtime available. You will work on various machinery and specialty components. Ideally you will have experience working on a variety of mid to large sized equipment.

The successful candidate will be a minimum 3rd year apprentice through an accredited Canadian trade institution and be seeking a long term position with a growing company. Requirements

• Minimum 3‑5 years of mechanic experience.
• 3rd year / 4th apprentice or 421A certified.
• Background with gas / diesel powered pumps preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge is an asset.
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Clear verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to interact professionally and in a positive level‑headed manner with customers.
• Someone who wants to grow within a company and work in a smaller shop.
• Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.
