Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds Alberta Journeyperson Trade Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Must sign Drug-Free Workplace, Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality agreements.
• Journeyman in Heavy Equipment Technician or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul heavy vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot system failures and identify faults or hazards.
• Respond to Work Order requests and provide replacement suggestions.
• Write maintenance reports and maintain records of parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to equipment and run diagnostics.
• Perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Select appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
