Job summary

A leading equipment dealership in Ontario seeks a skilled Technician/Mechanic to join their team. The role requires inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and customer service. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license and at least two years of relevant experience. Competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • At least 2 years experience in service repairs is required.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions in equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance on crushing and screening equipment.

Skills

Valid driver’s license, with clean Driver’s Abstract
Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes
Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to use basic computer functions and MS-Office Suite
Ability to work alone or as a member of a team
Strong work ethic, reliability and dependability

Responsibilities

Domestic travail mandatory – We perform our work in Quarry and Mine sites.

Our heavy equipment consists mainly of crusher, screener and conveyor.

  • Inspect crushing and screening equipment upon initial delivery for defects
  • Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
  • Adjust crushing and screening equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
  • Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on crushing and screening equipment
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
  • Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
  • Additional duties as required
Skills
