A large Maritime based conglomerate is seeking Heavy-Duty mechanics for locations in Saint John, Moncton, and Fredericton, NB. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical faults, performing maintenance services, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a Truck and Trailer Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement or be in their final block of apprenticeship. Job description

Our client, a large Maritime based conglomerate has asked us to locate several Heavy-Duty mechanics to join their company with locations in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton NB.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed adjust, repair or replace parts and components of transport truck and truck-trailer systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer9s specifications.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Truck and Trailer Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement. Will consider individuals on their last block of their Apprenticeship.
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner in a team-focused environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
