A construction services provider seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy equipment in Prince George, BC. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and is certified with a strong mechanical aptitude. Heavy Duty Mechanics are responsible for ensuring that all IDL’s equipment and specialty tools (such as: articulating rock trucks, backhoes, dozers, excavators, graders, loaders, generators etc.) are maintained and in good working condition. We are looking for skilled technicians who have the ability to work independently and as part of our great team. We currently have full-time and rotational positions available.
IDL Project’s head office is located in Prince George, British Columbia with satellite offices in Prince Rupert, Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
Out-of-town work is a requirement for this position.
