Canada, co in Brooks, AB is seeking a Red Seal Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of agricultural or heavy equipment.

You will work on tractors, combines, loaders, excavators, and more, with a strong focus on safety, quality repairs, and thorough record-keeping. This full-time role offers health, dental, vision benefits, retirement plan, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification as an Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with agricultural or heavy-duty equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and specialized tools.
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural or heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, combines, loaders, excavators, and more.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure the equipment operates at optimal efficiency.
• Test and operate repaired equipment to verify repairs are successful.
• Keep detailed records of service work, including parts used and hours worked on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Use specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to conduct repairs.
• Assist in training apprentices and provide mentorship where necessary.

Job Description:
