Job summary

A leading company in water and sewer services is looking for skilled equipment repair technicians to join their team permanently. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and be capable of troubleshooting and repairing heavy trucks and related equipment. The role is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to maintenance practices ensuring equipment meets all specifications.

Qualifications

  • 3 years to less than 5 years experience required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain heavy trucks.
  • Capable of using computerized testing equipment.

Job description

  • Experience : 3 years to less than 5 years

Tasks

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
