Job summary

A health authority on Vancouver Island is looking for a dedicated individual to manage the scheduling of diagnostic and medical treatment appointments. This role requires Grade 12 education and two years of recent related experience. The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology and will work closely with physicians and other departments to ensure efficient scheduling and documentation management. Previous experience in a medical environment is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education plus two years recent related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process booking requests for diagnostic and medical treatment procedures.
• Schedule patients using electronic scheduling application.
• Prepare patient charts according to established procedures.
