Hearing Performance Developer

Responsibilities include technical project leadership, design, development and maintenance of hearing performance tests and test infrastructure for hearing instruments. Provide technical support to project management and other R&D Software engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for assigned projects, reporting to manager regarding project progress and completion.
  • Run product verification and judge the quality of the developed products in the area of hearing and audiological performance, feature functionalities and sensors performance.
  • Provide test management services and generate verification documents for the submission of the products to the market.
  • Support the development of test cases for new product functionalities and adapt existing test cases to new product variations.
  • Maintain the Test-ware (test infrastructure, testing framework, test cases, tools, agents, etc.) to be up-to-date and ready to use.
  • Review product specifications, design and analyze the tests needed during the development phase in collaboration with other developers, provide feedback on requirements to the development teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and support their development.
  • Perform other job-related duties that may be assigned by the Manager.
More about you
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Bio-medical, Computer fields or Physics.
  • Experienced programming in Matlab, C# and mobile App.
  • General understanding of acoustics, analog & digital electronics, test software development.
  • Previous work experience in engineering/development position.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.
