A healthcare organization in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the team in the Warrington Ward. In this role, you will assist registered nurses in delivering comprehensive care, monitor patient conditions, and provide personal care. Ideal candidates will possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and have a caring attitude. Warrington is an acute 17 bedded Surgical ward that has a high patient flow and varied acuity levels. Specialist areas of care are: ENT, Maxillo Facial Surgery, Gynaecology, Opthalmology and Head and Neck Cancer patients.
As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will be working together as part of a multidisciplinary, professional team to assist the registered nurses and senior clinical staff in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care.
You will find solutions to problems and be able to demonstrate a positive approach to new challenges, encouraging others to do the same while helping to create an environment where differences are valued, encouraged and supported.
As Healthcare Support Worker you will look after a variety of patients with different health concerns, and will make a real difference to someone's quality of life!
