Job description
Overview

Due to recent retirement an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker within Gynaecology Outpatients has arisen. This is a permanent post at 33 hours per week.

Unit Description

Queen Margaret Hospital houses the only Colposcopy Unit within NHS Fife. The unit provides colposcopy investigation to the NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHS CSP) and supports Gynaecology Minor Surgery and other gynaecology outpatient services.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of working within a clinical setting and the ability to work own your own and as part of a team.
  • Experience of delivering the highest standard of care to a diverse group of patients in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Prior to appointment, become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
