Job Description:

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will respond to alarms, emergency requests, and utilize your excellent verbal de-escalation skills to resolve incidents. Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling private information is essential, all while delivering outstanding customer service with a smile.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude.
  • Prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
  • Monitor visitors and perform ID checks according to site policies.
  • Respond professionally to emergencies such as alarms, medical incidents, and fires.
  • Communicate suspicious activities and concerns effectively to dispatch.
  • Maintain detailed reports of activities and incidents.
  • Patrol the facility regularly, utilizing PPE to ensure safety and security.
You're a Great Fit If You:
  • Can provide excellent customer service with a friendly smile.
  • Are comfortable standing for long periods.
  • Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification or are willing to obtain one before hiring.
  • Are eligible to work in Canada.
  • Have prior security experience.

All officers must carry a valid Nova Scotia Security License. Basic Security Training is provided.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
