Do you have a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Healthcare Marketing Associate Director at Novo Nordisk.

Your new role

As a Healthcare Marketing Associate Director, you will lead the development and implementation of HCP marketing strategies, tactics and resources, including promotional tools as well as digital and non-personal promotion (NPP) offerings.

  • Create impactful and tailored resources for the field team and collaborate with the sales organisation to drive brand performance.
  • Adapt marketing activities to the brand lifecycle and changing market dynamics, leveraging insights and market research to ensure impactful and focused activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment across brands and the broader organisation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Support resource allocation, budget planning, and ROI analysis for operational excellence. Oversee relationships with external vendors to ensure objectives are met cost-effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Lead audit readiness, documentation practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

Need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health Sciences, Business, Public Health, or related discipline).
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector in marketing departments, with expertise in Marketing and strategy.
  • Familiarity with HCP marketing trends and data analytics, with proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating HCP-focused strategies.
  • Experience working within Canadian regulatory frameworks (e.g., Health Canada, PAAB, IMC). Nice to have:
  • Experience in the cardiometabolic area is preferred but not a requirement.
