Job summary

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking a skilled grounds/landscape technician to support snow removal and year-round grounds maintenance across the campus. The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in horticulture or landscape trades and a minimum of five years of related experience.

Applicants must hold a valid Ontario driver’s license (G) and a chain saw license, with strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining grounds equipment. Eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in horticulture/landscape trades.
• Minimum five years related experience in grounds maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for operating equipment.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license (Class G) or equivalent.
• Chain Saw License.
• Experience in snow removal and winter grounds maintenance.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal operations and winter grounds maintenance.
