Job Summary: This senior leadership role will be pivotal in shaping the organisation’s financial strategy, overseeing core functions including accounts payable, costing, management accounting, and corporate governance. You will provide strategic direction, ensure robust financial controls, and lead transformative initiatives that optimise operational efficiency, enhance financial performance, and drive sustainable growth.

What you'll be doing
  • Set the strategic vision for finance operations, aligning accounts payable, costing, and management accounting with organisational goals.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and strong working capital management.
  • Lead process re-engineering, automation projects, and system integrations to elevate operational performance.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks to meet corporate policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Provide senior leadership with insightful financial analyses, variance reports, and scenario modelling to influence business strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to assess financial implications of initiatives, identify cost optimisation opportunities, and support business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor Degree level in Accountancy.
  • 7 – 9 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 4 years in senior management roles.
  • Proven track record in Accounts Payable management, budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision support.
  • Experience in large corporate firms and/ or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, drive transformation, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
