Under the direction of Management (or designate), the Health Support Aide (HSA) works in collaboration with all members of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (PLM) by providing support to patients/clients and PLM team. The Health Support Aide role may include specimen collection and other departmental/patient/client support functions under the guidance and direction of licensed health care professionals. Strict adherence to safety and infection prevention and control procedures is required.
