Job summary

A leading automotive company in Windsor is seeking a Health & Safety Professional to enhance safety compliance and improve production efficiency. The role involves implementing safety training, conducting audits, and analyzing safety metrics. The ideal candidate has a relevant Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience in a manufacturing setting. This position requires effective communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Night shifts are expected, along with flexibility for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum TWO (2) years of experience in a Manufacturing environment in the Human Resources field.
• Strong understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA).
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement WHS training programs and training assessments.
• Conduct regular audits of WHS processes.
• Analyze injury / illness experience and identify root causes.
• Manage routine safety reports and data acquisition.
• Coordinate communication of WHS regulatory inspection activity.
