Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience coordinating health and safety for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Background in coordinating training and safety programs.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and hiring for the Safety department.
  • Develop and deliver site-specific safety training.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of project sites.
  • Work with project management to resolve safety-related issues.
  • Participate in the selection of subcontractors based on safety standards.

Skills

Experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
Communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to work in a changing environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree
Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO)
