Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in Health and Safety is essential.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Health & Safety Coordinator

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
2. Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.
3. Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
4. Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.
5. Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
6. Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
7. Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.
8. Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.
9. Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
10. Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
11. Participates in routine safe work briefings.
12. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Working knowledge of federal and state SH&E regulations and reporting procedures.
2. Working knowledge of safety-related national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
3. Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Typical Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
