Job summary

Autism Services Weyburn Health Educator - Staff is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and delivering oral health prevention and promotion activities in the community. The Health Educator - Staff provides programs to children, pre-postnatal groups, senior populations, and others with all abilities.

This position reports to the Manager and plays an integral role within the Primary Health Care umbrella. Ideal candidates have a graduate from a recognized Dental Therapy or Dental Hygienist

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized Dental Therapy program.
  • Graduate from a recognized Dental Hygienist program is also acceptable

Responsibilities

Job Description: The Health Educator - Staff, reporting to the Manager, is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and delivering oral health prevention and promotion activities in the community. The Health Educator - Staff provides programs to children, pre-postnatal groups, senior populations, and others with all abilities. This position is an integral part of the Primary Health Care umbrella and works to promote oral health and provide consultation and information to communities, individuals, and others in the community.
