Position: Health Care Support Worker – Neurosurgical Ward 64

Shift pattern Mon‑Sun 12hr shifts: days/nights/weekends.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Neurosurgical teams as a Health Care Support Worker within Ward 64, Institute of Neurological Sciences. This is a Regional service which covers the West of Scotland.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient‑centred care, continuing professional development and an understanding of our service and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team is essential, as is previous healthcare experience within a surgical ward.
  • Post requires PVG scheme membership / Disclosure Scotland check as part of NHSGGC pre‑employment checking for all appointed candidates prior to start date.
  • This post includes weekend working and is full time.
