Job summary

The Health Care Aide at Park Place Seniors Living, Inc. is responsible for the general wellbeing of Residents, delivering high‑quality services per policies. The role includes basic assessment, personal care, medication administration and delegated health services to Residents.

You will support and guide the Care Team Members, demonstrating professional conduct. English communication is required, and independence with team collaboration is essential in this Edmonton, Alberta location.

Qualifications

• Completion of Health Care Aide or equivalent from a recognized program.
• Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old).
• Must be physically fit to perform lifting and transferring and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language.
• Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team.

The Health Care Aide is responsible of ensuring the general wellbeing of Residents through the delivery of high-quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophies of Park Place Seniors Living Inc. The Health Care Aide will provide basic assessment and treatments, personal care, medication administration, and delegated health services to the Residents, as well as providing support and give direction to the Care Team Members. The Health Care Aide will at all times demonstrate support of Sprucewood policies and procedures and conduct themselves in a professional manner in all situations.
