Health Care Aide (HCA)

This position is for our Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support residents in participating in activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, bathing, toileting, personal grooming & mobility).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Ensure that care is provided according to the person’s wishes, preferences and care plan.

What You Bring

• Completed HCA certification.
• Demonstrated compassion, accountability and respect.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of the job (e.g., bending, lifting, walking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task).
