A charitable senior care provider in Calgary is seeking a Health Care Aide to join their compassionate team. Responsibilities include providing direct care to residents, observing and reporting changes in their condition, and documenting care provided. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved Health Care Aide program and is registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. This is a permanent part-time role with evening shifts, offering a supportive environment focused on empathy and innovation.
The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) is a charitable organization that currently owns and operates five Aging Care & Senior Living communities in Calgary, AB, and Okotoks, AB. We take pride in providing a safe, caring, and comfortable home environment that caters to the complex needs of our senior residents and families.
Locally, in Calgary, BSF also operates Alberta’s largest second-stage shelter providing safe shelter and comprehensive support services to women and children leaving abuse and violence.

The Health Care Aide is a member of a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct care to assist in the activities of daily living, comfort, and safety of our residents and indirect services to support the overall provision of care in their assigned area.
