Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Winnipeg, MB is seeking passionate Personal Support Workers to join our home and community health care team. You will provide compassionate personal care, support clients in daily activities, and help maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• PSW diploma or Health Care Aide equivalent (evidence required).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirement.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• TB/Background checks and criminal record check as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living in clients' homes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using mobile devices.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders as per care plan.
• Support client independence and well-being with compassion and respect.

• Personal Support Worker/Health Care Aide diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Attributes

• Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English

Required Documentation

• 2 supervisory references,
• A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Proof of being negative for TB.
