The Health Care Aide is a member of the health care team,working under the direction of the Registered Nurse and /or Licensed PracticalNurse. The Health Care Aide isresponsible for performing and assisting with duties related to meetingclient/patient/resident personal needs in accordance with the establishedpolicies and procedures. The Health CareAide must be able to function effectively in a dynamic and demandingenvironment utilizing nursing process of assessment, planning, implementationand evaluation. The position of Health Care Aide functions in a mannerconsistent with, and supports the mission, vision and values of the Interlake –Eastern Regional Health Authority.
