Job summary

A healthcare organization in Burnaby is seeking dedicated individuals for a full-time caregiver role. Responsibilities include patient support, health monitoring, and assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities

  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse

  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Transport patients between care facilities
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations

  • Salary 25.19 to 27.19 hourly (To be negotiated)
  • 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
