$25/hour + Annual Bonus Structure

Are you interested in joining our care team whose mission is to improve the health of our customers in their home and community? St. Anthony's Clinic Pharmacy in Langford, BC, is seeking Casual Health Care Assistants to join our ‘Heart @ Home’ team that offers mobile care services to our clients in their home. We strive to create a rewarding and dynamic work environment for all members of our team while providing loving care to our customers and community.

We are a looking for full-time candidates available to work weekdays and weekends - 4/5 days consecutively.

Position Summary:

• Visiting our Heart @ Home patients throughout the community
• Daily assistance with medication administration
• Routine Vital Signs per care plan ~ BP / Pulse / 02 Sats.
• Perform other related HCA duties as required.
• Documentation of interventions and assessment through the AlayaCare online Platform
• Contributes to the development and modification of the patient/resident care plan.
• Relay patient concerns and information to designated members of the health care team.
• Contribute to pharmacy operations through a variety of tasks, as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program such as a Health Aide program or equivalent experience
• Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
• Criminal record check will be required following an offer of employment.
• Valid BC Driver's License, clear Drivers Abstract and a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement included in compensation package).
• Must be available 4-5 days in a row consecutively
