Real Canadian Superstore in Canada is seeking a Department Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a store department and drive sales and profitability. You will train and develop department associates in customer service, product knowledge and merchandising, while maintaining stock, pricing and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and a commitment to inclusive teamwork across diverse staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Previous retail management experience in department or specialty store.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a department within a store.
• Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.
• Train and develop department associates in customer service, product knowledge and merchandising.
• Maintain merchandising, inventory, and pricing accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments for replenishment.
• Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to improve productivity and retention.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the department.
• Communicate with store management on store-wide goals.
