A leading horticulture products company in Airdrie, Alberta is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to maintain health and safety programs and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary education and certification as an OHS professional, with the skills to analyze safety risks and implement programs effectively.

Accountable to the Site Manager, the Health and Safety Specialist will be primarily responsible for maintaining the implementation of activities related to the plant's health and safety program.
The Health and Safety Specialist participates as an integral member of the Canada Supply Chain team and performs duties in accordance with the mandate and priorities of Scotts Canada Ltd.
The Health and Safety Specialist may be required to work on holidays and weekends from time to time.
