Stage West Calgary is seeking a Head of Wardrobe to oversee wardrobe duties for its main-stage productions. The role involves collaborating with designers, coordinating part-time wardrobe crew, and ensuring the wardrobe shop runs smoothly through the production cycle.

The successful candidate will have advanced sewing skills, dyeing and pattern drafting experience, with wig knowledge considered a strong asset and the ability to lead and work independently.

Qualifications

• Advanced sewing, dyeing and pattern drafting are required.
• Wig experience would be an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team is required.

Responsibilities

• Report to Production Manager.
• Assist designers in executing wardrobe designs for main-stage shows.
• Coordinate and supervise part-time wardrobe crew during production periods.
• Run and maintain organization of the wardrobe shop.
• Handle laundry and maintenance duties during performances.
