Lead the strategic and operational excellence of J.P. Morgan Treasury Services' Payment Rails in Canada, driving innovation, market engagement, and product evolution to enhance the firm's presence and influence in the payments landscape. As the Head of Payment Rails within J.P. Morgan Treasury Services for Canada, you will lead the country franchise for this product family, managing day-to-day operations and setting the vision for future growth. You will serve as the voice of the market, guiding product evolution and growth, engaging with industry stakeholders, and shaping the business to resonate and thrive. In this role, you will lead the Payment Rails team in Canada, collaborate with global teams, and represent the business at key forums to influence market direction and internal priorities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy to deepen our product offering aligned with various customer segments in the Canadian market. You will champion the voice of the market to influence product development roadmaps and advocate for market expansion and development.
  • Articulate and execute against market opportunities with proper prioritization of modernization, evolution, and expansion of products and solutions. You will own the local go-to-market strategy, ensuring market-readiness of product releases and accounting for product adoption and performance, including profitability and increased market share.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners to build and launch product offerings that are globally consistent but locally relevant. You will act as a senior product leader in key client and partner engagements.
  • Enhance Industry Engagement; You will increase the firm's external profile through industry forums, payment network operators, client events, and marketing events. You will maintain an open relationship with market regulators and supervisors, influencing product dialogue with regulators across the market.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
  • 15+ years of experience in the Canadian and global payments landscape, including traditional core cash management, emerging payment rails, and cross-border payments.
  • Proven ability to implement essential product lifecycle activities at scale.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and lead great teams, collaborate effectively in a matrix organization, and drive change in complex environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of market regulatory requirements, regional and local nuances, and governance requirements. Experience engaging with market regulators and supervisors is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
