Airbus in Mirabel, QC, Canada, is seeking a Head of Digital Solution Development to lead a team of developers responsible for maintaining existing applications and building new A220 digital solutions. The role blends leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on delivery in a hybrid work setting.

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Head of Digital Solution Development to join our Digital Solutions, Customer Services team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will be responsible for the leadership of digital project execution.

You will be part of the Digital Solutions, Customer Services team responsible for developing accelerating growth and operational efficiency using digital products.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Head of Digital Solution Development will be to manage a team of developers working on the maintenance of current applications or the development of new A220 digital solutions.

Your challenges:

• Lead the team of developers in successful execution of digital projects;
• Ensure that the team follows Airbus development guidelines;

• Work closely with the Digital Project Leaders to provide all required estimates and analysis for the project initiation;
• Maintain a team dashboard and provide weekly KPIs;

Your profile

• You possess a bachelor degree in technology;
• You have ten (10) + years of experience in IT and software development;
• You have experience in resource management;
• Good understanding of project delivery methods including waterfall and agile;
• Strong personality and ability to keep teams motivated through the organization transformation;
• You possess the ability to foster communication, engagement and teamwork;
• Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to structure and articulate messages effectively to different audiences at all levels.

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).

Travel Required: Occasional travel overseas

Regular business travels will be expected; consequently you must be willing to travel accordingly.

Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
