Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks a Senior Avionics IPT Lead in Montreal to drive avionics architecture, integration, and certification across aircraft programs. You will manage system-level trade studies, interface definitions, and cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, software, V&V, certification) to meet tight program milestones.

Applicants should have 12-18+ years in aerospace, experience leading large IPTs, and deep knowledge of ARINC protocols, DO-178C, and MBSE tools.

Qualifications

• 12-18+ years in aerospace/aviation domain.
• Experience leading IPTs or large cross-functional teams is mandatory.
• Strong program leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Avionics & Communication IPT, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Own scope, schedule, cost, and quality deliverables for avionics systems.
• Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams (systems, hardware, software, V&V, certification).
• Act as the primary interface with customer, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive system-level trade studies, technology selection, and interface definitions.
• Lead avionics system integration activities (LRU/system level).
• Oversee verification & validation strategy and execution (HIL/SIL).
• Drive certification activities in line with FAA/EASA/DGCA regulations and PSAC/PHAC reviews.
