The Jean Coutu Group in Montreal, QC is seeking a capable supervisor for the cashier’s department. You will plan, organize and control daily operations and staffing, while ensuring excellent customer service and a well-presented, clean department. Maintain inventory levels, supervise and train staff, and handle cash balancing duties.

A sociable, friendly team player with very good French is ideal. This full-time role offers a collaborative environment, flexible hours to support work-life

• Perform all tasks related to balancing cash registers.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• plan, organize and control the operational activities and human resources of the cashier's department;
• see to the constant improvement of customer service;
• ensure that the department is clean and maintains an attractive image;
• maintain an adequate level of inventory;
• supervise the work of the personnel under your supervision and see to task distribution;
• see to the training of employees under your supervision;
• perform all tasks related to balancing cash registers.
