Job Summary

The HCA/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. This client is in need of 24/7 care and has advanced dementia requiring total care. This particular client has a need for Full Time daily care! Long shifts, overnights, must speak tagalog.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel around Greater Vancouver Area
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
• Must speak Tagalog
• Experience with dementia
• Vehicle an asset but not required

The client can be stubborn and needs a lot of encouragement. Needs patience and ability to get the client to do the things they need to do without asking her if she will. The client will always say NO.
