Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work long hours.
• Mandatory regional travel with overnight stays; travel varies by project demand.
• Meticulous, organized and motivated; good problem solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; follow directions.
• Mechanically inclined; vacuum truck and power washing assets are a plus.
• Specialized training provided by GFL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of chemical and petroleum transfers, including materials handling.
• Engage as entrant, manwatch, or rescue attendant for Confined Space Entry projects.
• Support HAZMAT emergency response and spills.
• Participate in transloading of railcars (liquids and solids).
• Involve railcar cleaning and purging operations.
• Contribute to environmental projects and decontamination work as required.
• Assist with technical rescue services including water response.
• Lead by example and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Collaborate across divisions and project types.
