Job summary

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team. You will operate diverse equipment including Hydro Vacs, Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, and Tankers to move hazardous and non-hazardous waste between generators and facilities.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license.
• Ability to operate manual transmission required.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience operating equipment such as Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker, Hot Oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset, onsite training can be provided.
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites.
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility.
• Performing pre and post trip inspections.
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers.
• Doing roadside repairs as needed.
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.
