Job summary

Alvéole is seeking a Harvest Helper to work with Urban Beekeepers across Calgary during the honey harvest season. The role involves collecting and transporting honey boxes from beehives and supporting beekeepers on routes and in the warehouse.

You'll assist with loading, unloading, and shipping logistics, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring professional interactions with clients. This is a seasonal, on-site position requiring physical effort and reliability during peak

• Valid driver's license for more than 3 years and in good standing.
• Previous experience in a physical or hands-on role.
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help load and unload honey boxes from vehicles and move them onto pallets in the warehouse.
• Assist with the transportation and organization of honey boxes between client sites and the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping logistics to transport honey boxes to our centralized extraction facility.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout harvest activities.
• Work closely with Urban Beekeepers and other team members to keep harvest days organized and running smoothly.

Job Title: Harvest Helper

Location: Calgary - On-site

Type of contract: Seasonal, Full-time (40h/week)

Starting date: Seasonal contract

Starting Salary: 20.67$/hour

About The Role

As a Harvest Helper, you'll work alongside our Urban Beekeepers during the honey harvest season, helping collect and transport honey boxes from beehives located across the city.

This is a hands-on, physical role that involves working at client sites and in our warehouse. You'll support our beekeepers throughout their harvest routes and help ensure harvested honey boxes are safely transported and prepared for shipment to our centralized extraction facility.
