Job summary

RONA in Winnipeg is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to help customers bring their projects to life. You will greet customers, assess needs, demonstrate products, and recommend complementary items to drive sales, while maintaining attractive displays and up-to-date product knowledge.

You will work within store policies and contribute to a safe, efficient shopping environment, participating in promotions and ongoing training to support career growth and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar sales role.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Assess customer needs and provide well informed and specialized advice about products.
• Present merchandise (including demos), emphasize item features, and recommend complementary items.
• Contribute to merchandising of products in your department (displays, visual presentation, labeling, signage).
• Stay informed of new products and their technical applications.
• Contribute to achievement of sales targets.
• Stay informed of promotions and flyers.
• Follow store policies on loss prevention and health and safety.
• Perform other related tasks to ensure store operations run smoothly.
