A leading technology company in Canada seeks a Systems Engineering Technologist to support the development of communication and control systems. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in the naval or shipbuilding sector. Systems Engineering Technologist
The Systems Engineering Technologist is responsible for supporting Systems Engineering in the development of Thales projects. These projects are largely defined as communication and control systems encompassing RF, digital, network and analog sub systems.
The Systems Engineering Technologist will ensure project work is executed, monitored and controlled in terms of adherence to budget and schedule, risk management, and quality of deliveries. As required, the candidate will participate in integration or configuration, troubleshooting, verification and validation of subsystems and engineering close-out activities.
The environments the candidate will generally be at the customer premises (Vancouver Shipyards) that is an active Shipyard, and onboard Ships or other vessels, both Military and Civilian along with shipyard facilities.
Tasks are assigned by the Technologist Group Lead, or as delegated to the project authority.

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) 61,710.00 - 102,850.00 CAD Annual.
