Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Winnipeg is hiring Sales Associates to provide fast, friendly service by actively engaging customers and assessing their needs. You will work with supervisors and other associates across departments such as Lumber, Paint, Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Seasonal and Tool Rental to guide customers to the right solutions for their projects.

Ideal candidates are curious, eager to learn, and flexible enough to work evenings and weekends.

Job Overview:

Sales Associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. These associates work in cooperation with their supervisors and other sales associates in various department. Specific store departments may include Lumber, Building Materials, Paint, Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Seasonal and Tool Rental.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Experience in a fast paced customer service environment
• Experience working in a sales driven environment is an asset
