Mr. Handyman of SW Edmonton is seeking a part-time handyman in Edmonton, Alberta.

This position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work on a variety of repair tasks for residential and commercial clients. Provide basic construction skills for residential and commercial clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas; bid work and complete projects to satisfaction; communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Must have own tools and a functioning vehicle.
• Independent contractor with liability insurance and WCB coverage.

Job Summary:

• Provide basic construction skills for residential and commercial clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
• Bid work and produce it with great satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate with clients and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

• General Carpentry (rough and finish)
• Drywall Repair (Patching/Caulking)
• Painting (interior and exterior)
• Fence repairs and installation
• Deck repairs and installation
• Door repairs and installation
• Bathroom Upgrades / remodel
• Kitchen refresh / remodel
• Minor plumbing and electrical
• Flooring Repair and Installation

Competencies:

• Great customer service and client relations
• Knowledge of building codes

• Must have a current driver's license and insurance
