Clearspace is seeking a reliable Handyman to join our construction team across multiple sites in the Toronto area. You will support site teams with day-to-day tasks, close out deficiencies, and ensure job sites run smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in project coordination or construction support, owns a vehicle, and is comfortable with basic tools and repair techniques. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative support within construction/interior design.
  • Owns a vehicle or can travel to sites (expenses reimbursable).
  • Proven handyman or construction experience in commercial settings.
  • Comfortable with basic tools and repair techniques.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Complete minor repairs and finishing work on commercial interiors.
  • Assist with punch list and deficiency close-out items.
  • Support site teams with basic construction tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on job sites.
  • Perform basic drywall, patching, painting, hardware installation, etc.
  • Pick up and deliver materials or tools when required.
  • Communicate clearly with site supervisors and the construction director.
  • Follow safety protocols at all times.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman to join our construction team. The role supports our site teams with day-to-day tasks, helps close out deficiencies, and ensures job sites run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working across multiple sites.
