Hairstylist Apprentice

Location: 611 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON M6G 1K5.

Work location: On site.

Start date: Immediately.

Employment type: Permanent full time.

Salary: $20.00 to $36.00 per hour (negotiable).

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on beauty care treatments
• Analyze hair and scalp condition
• Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
• Provide custom hair and scalp treatments
• Shampoo customers' hair
• Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and scalp conditioning massages
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Suggest hairstyles compatible with client physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties
• Maintain and order supplies
