Job summary

Regis Corporate in Canada is seeking a Hair Stylist to join our team. You will perform styling, color and guest services with a focus on delivering a great client experience across our Mississauga salons.

We offer an hourly wage plus commission, extended health and dental benefits, and a one-time joining bonus of $750 after 6 months. A cosmetology license and Canadian residency are required; evenings and weekends work are common.

Qualifications

• Current cosmetology license or in training to become certified in Canada.
• Canadian resident, citizen, permanent resident or valid work permit.
• Team player with flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

You will be joining a family of over 300 First Choice Hair Salons established over 75 years ago in Canada., where we constantly invest in training and advancement of our team members to remain current with latest trends in industry.

In our hair salons we aim to provide our guests a great experience! Whether you’re giving a client a haircut, hair style, color and highlights or one of our specialty hair care services. It’s your skill matched with our proprietary tools and techniques that will set you up for success.

We offer competitive compensation based on your experience and quality of technique which includes hourly wage plus commission and extended health and dental benefits. After successfully completing 6 months in your role you will also be eligible for a one time joining bonus of $750/.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll provide exceptional hair styling services, guest service, understand your guest’s needs, provide quality consultations and perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.

• You have a current cosmetology license or in training to get certified in Canada or another country
• You are a Canadian resident , a citizen or permanent resident or have a work permit
• You enjoy working in a team
• You can and want to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
