Job summary

Echo NDE in Red Deer, AB is seeking an experienced Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing Technician to join our NDT team supporting operations across North America. You will perform GWUT inspections on pipelines, interpret data, and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements. CGSB UT Level 2 is required; MT/PT Level 2 and CSWIP GWUT are assets.

Travel is required; we offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for certification support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of NDT experience.
• CGSB UT Level 2 certification is required.
• CGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications are assets.
• CSWIP Level I (GWUT) certification will be considered an asset.
• Experience with Eddyfi GWUT systems preferred.

Echo NDE is currently seeking an experienced Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing Technician, to join our growing NDT team to support our operations out of Red Deer, AB.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced inspection technologies in a dynamic field environment.

• Perform Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) inspections on pipelines and related assets.
• Interpret and analyze inspection data with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with field teams and clients to deliver high-quality inspection results.
• CGSB UT Level 2 certification.
• CGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications is considered an asset.
• CSWIP Level I (GWUT) certification will be considered an asset.
• Hands-on experience with Eddyfi GWUT systems preferred.
• Experience with GUL or MsS systems will also be considered.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant NDT experience.
• Rope Access (IRATA) certification is an asset.
• Ability to travel.
