Overview

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring a Guest Service Associate for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs, booking reservations, acting as a point of reference for guests who need information, and resolving or escalating guest concerns or issues. Responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation. Organization and good time management skills are a must.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
  • Greet all clients and employees courteously and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, including distribution and collection of registration paperwork
  • Enter registration data into site software and other systems
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and data entry
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner; manage faxes and emails
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, signage, and reports as required
  • Open and close the front office as scheduled
  • Provide exceptional service to all clients and employees
  • Attend safety meetings and participate in emergency response procedures
  • Maintain a clean and tidy entry area as required, which may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, garbage removal, dusting, upon operation requirement
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required
Working Conditions and Environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms
  • Ability to work split shifts within a rotational schedule
  • Visual acuity for inspections and reading small text
  • Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks
  • Ability to work and navigate safely in close quarters and congested areas
  • Ability to balance and maintain stability on slippery surfaces
  • May be exposed periodically to elevated noise levels and surroundings
  • Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
Qualifications
  • Previous guest services experience required
  • Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
