Job summary

Cineplex is looking for a Server to provide high-level guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment in Toronto, Ontario. You will take accurate orders, know the menu and daily specials, and ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities include serving with professionalism, maintaining hygiene, handling payments, and assisting with training and operations. Must have proper alcohol service certification and flexibility to work shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong service experience with guests.
• 1-3 years in restaurant service is an asset.
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
• Professional appearance and strong team attitude.
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and bar offerings.
• Serve beverages and meals in a courteous, professional manner.
• Stock and clean dining areas and fulfill hygiene requirements.
• Set and reset tables according to policy.
• Ensure accurate billing and process payments.
• Assist guests and handle complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow health, safety, and liquor service guidelines.
